For rules, policies and draft rules,
Softball Leagues T-Ball (Age 5) T-Ball is a program designed for the five year old. This program is pure fundamentals. We encourage only five year olds to register for this program so that the T-Ball skill sets are best utilized. These players learn proper throwing mechanics, base running, and some basic rules of the game. T-Ball is a coach pitch, usually from one knee that encourages contact in hitting from the tee. There is no score kept, no balls or strikes, and no outs. All players bat. Nine players play the field.
Instructional Softball (Ages 6-8) Instructional Softball is designed for six, seven and eight year old players. This league uses a combination of previous skill and teaching of fundamentals. These players are reminded to use proper throwing mechanics, proper base running, and a continued reinforcement of the basic rules of the game. This league is a coach pitch league. Older league participants are encouraged to try pitching later in the season. There is no score kept, no balls and no strikes.
